It's not real easy to make an AD 1 ton into 4x4, they are so narrow most driven front axles with 8 lugs are newer and therefore wider, and the ones that are narrow enough, like from perhaps a jeep are not really strong enough.

There were aftermarket 4x4 conversions back then, Coleman I've seen one of, and a couple NAPCO. They would be difficult to find, possibly expensive.
