And, here are my interpretations.
Please correct and clarify, if necessary.
That "848" head casting code head was used from 1956-1962/63 on 235 engines.
B-12-3 = datecasting code: February 12th 1963 (probably an end-of model "year" 235
head/engine, or a replacement 235 head).
