Just about any modern battery that fits in the battery tray.......will be just fine as long as the charging system is in good working order.
The battery in the old truck is under very light load once it’s past cranking the engine compared to the modern vehicle with power everything.
Back in the old days one CCA ( cold cranking amp) per cubic engine displacement ( 235) was a sizing guide line.........it’s easy to find a 600-800 cold crank amp battery in the trucks tray size of about $100.
