I'm installing 15 x 5 1/2 6 lug wheels on a '53 1/2 ton shortbed and need information on the best tires to use. I want a "tall" tire to help some with the speed (stock rear-end and torque tube) but mostly to fill up the wheel wells. Can someone recommend the largest size which would fit and not contact any sheet metal during turns or bumps? Also, would you recommend radial or bias tires? Thanks for any help and advice.
