A very timely topic. I recently traded for a "slammed" 49 GMC that a previous owner must have really liked low riders.. This truck is low.

He removed all but the top 2 leaves and as far as I can tell it was driven that way for a while. I'll know how it rides soon.
He used those spacer blocks likes been mentioned.
