| | | | Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 88 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 88 | Can anyone share with me a part number for the differential cover gasket on a 54 Chevy 3100 half ton truck? I ordered 2 gaskets from Amazon that were suppose to fit and they didn't. I then ordered the gasket from classic parts which did fit but didn't seal. That gasket was as thick as tissue paper and it wasn't a surprise it didn't seal. I should have listened to my gut and not even tried it. The original gasket looked like it may have been cork. Anyone have a part number for something decent? I have put in oil pan gaskets in the past that were steel coated with rubber on both sides. I would love to find something like that for this application. Thanks | | |
