I have a question of another kind. I have one of the Miller's auto darkening helmets. It's 3 years old and I use it for TIG work. The darkening adjustment goes from I think 9 to 12. My problem is when I'm doing thin work with low currents, like 1/8 alum. or sst, I can't see well as it's to dark on the lowest setting. Is there a way to "lighten" up the lens short of some sort of replacement? Right now I have an old mask that I have around the shop with a lighter lens in it for this work but as I don't do welding every day and I hate to bob my head when starting a weld. I'll move my hands while bobing my head and end up starting the weld off seam. Thanks
