The windshield on my 41 was literally screwed into place when I got it; with none of the parts needed for crank out operation. So I've been trying to get it back to operational. I thought I was home free after I got the regulator and bracket....but no.
The center to center dimension on my crank bracket is 1-15/16 and on my windshield T brace is 1-3/4. I thought I had the incorrect bracket, so I asked a vendor what the dimension of their bracket was and they said 2". So, then I thought that the windshield and T brace must have been modified at some point, so I disassembled the windshield to see if it would reveal anything. But, no. As you can see in the pic, there are no other holes in the frame.
So, what am I missing? Is this the incorrect crank bracket? Or incorrect windshield? 25 years ago, did I just get the wrong truck!!!! Just kidding....I love this hobby!
As always, thanks for your help.
