Where did you find an engineer with any real hands-on experience? The ones I've encountered most of the time (including my brother) live in their own little fantasy world that has nothing whatsoever to do with actually working for a living!

He's a hands on guy. Specs and installs a lot of automated robotic type equipment, writes a lot of the operating code as well. Often times he's the guy with the greasy coveralls on new installations though.
It's funny he's little bro, middle bro and I are very seldom allowed to do MUCH at all so-far as helping on his personal around the place projects. Our standard of "good enough" usually isn't!
