Repro parts suck. I have found that most (if not all) aren't anywhere near the quality of build and fit and finish of original pieces.
Here is a short list of my repro parts that didn't fit well
Headlight rings, windshield center bar, door latches (rebuild your stockers). I have yet to install a bunch more parts. Basically buy repro parts expecting to modify them to fit perfectly.
Gm part = good
Repro....it's a crap shoot.
