Look at the water to/from the radiator: much of the engine is below that level. The block's jacket passages surrounding the cylinders won't gravity drain. Some engines have pipe thread fittings or plugs on the (driver's?) side, not sure if all can be drained. IIRC -40 needs 55% anti-freeze minimum. | | |
