While in High School and a few years after, I drove my old '63 C10. I had several friends who would constantly hit their knees while getting in/out of the truck. They always complained about it, but didn't mind getting a ride cause they didn't have a car. I, at 6'1" and 195, never had a problem. The one who complained the most was about 5'9" and about 155. It wasn't about size, it was about not looking or being aware.
I still don't have a problem with my '62 C10 and I'm now at 250.
