Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 36 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Sep 2017 Posts: 36 | I'm getting ready to swap in a 350 gen1 engine and T5 transmission into a 56 3100. I currently have a 283 and a Muncie 3 speed. I plan on using the same bell housing attached to the 283 not sure what type of starter to use. My guess is I have to use the old style 3 bolt starter that bolts to the bell housing and not the 2 bolt that bolts to the block. Is there a mini starter that will work for this engine combination. Also putting a new flywheel and clutch etc in it. Anything special need to know about that , other than a 168t flywheel and early throw out bearing? Thanks Charles | | |
