I know on the 3800 that I had (54), the 3800 had a center mount radiator support, whereas my 3600 (and assuming 3100’s) have a 2 side supports.
I didn’t measure to see if there was a difference though.
Worst case scenario, you would need a rad support from a smaller truck.
