Norton makes a paint-rust stripper disk that looks like swiss cheease with grit on it. They make them in diffrent grits, but those things will strip paint like you have never seen, and not burnish or grind the metal. They don't build up heat like a cup brush. Do yourself a favor, try one. I stripped a whole 55 Buick once with a cup brush, the Norton disk would have taken 1/4 the time, quieter, and cleaner, with better metal prep. Costs about 8 bucks.
