Fired up the 235 this weekend and noticed a more than usual gas smell only to find a 2 yr old piece of quality fuel line I got from NAPA (it says fuel line on the side) that runs from the outlet side of the fuel pump then turns north up to the carb. The line is basically coming apart at the 90. I'm wondering if it's the 90 deg turn (its a gentle 90 not a kink) or heat from the block (about an inch at the closest point). I noticed the fuel pump has one outlet that comes out toward the block (say 2 o'clock) and what appears to be another at about 5 o'clock that would move it away from the block. I can't see the side of the fuel pump, but wondering if their is a plug in that 5 o'clock position that I can swap out. If not guess I need to replace the rubber with a brass tubing section. Appreciate thoughts.
