I used some sheet metal to repair that area on my doors. Just cut the rust out and welded in new metal. This was the area where the lower weatherstripping mounts. There are repair panels but unless you need to do the very bottom of the door you may be able to do what I did instead. I may have some pics I can send you it you need them
