For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 311 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 311 | I got a passenger side patch panel with toe board from Classic Parts (formerly Chevy Duty). It seemed to be the right thickness. The toe board and floor pan panel was ONE piece of metal. My '49 floor board is a separate piece from the toe board. You are right to determine how much of you floor pan you will need. I didn't think to check Goodmark Industries in Lawrenceville, Ga. which is where I have gotten some good patch panels (cab corners, etc). Might save yourself the shipping charges. Do you happen to have an extra set of rust free front fenders?
Always get a 2nd opinion, especially if I am the source of the 1st opinion.
