Painting unassembled depends on the paint youre going to have sprayed....if it is a mono color with no metallic in it then you can do that and pull off a good paint job. If it is metallic paint, then you have to be a darn good painter to pull it off, and i guarantee you will notice a difference between panels still. there is just no way the painter can maintain the same spray speed, angle, and distance from each panel.
