I have a 53 truck with a 235 engine from a 56 in her. I kept the original 216 flywheel and clutch and bellhousing on her. I understand that the 235 runs with more initial advance but was thinking about 5 degrees is that right? So if I set the initial with the vacuum line plugged off the distributor, and line up the dots on the flywheel/bellhousing then after set -lock it down then add 5 degrees advance to the octane adjustment. Is this right?
