"1) I've found the 3600 aspect is not common with the guys fabbing new chassis. the 3100 1/2 T is most common. should I just convert the truck to a 1/2T? I realize some of the body panels are then different too. "
All 1951 3100&3600 cab/fenders/hood/doors/interior body parts are the same.
