| | | | Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 142 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 142 | Removed a trans.from a 56 3200(3 speed on colum) Installed a 3speed colum trans from a 55 wagon.Both trans. had same mumbers on outside (all numbers).The linkage from the truck will not hook up to the shifter shaft. The chevy truck manual showes2nd /3rdshifter shaft in the up position first/reverse in the down position.Mine are both in the down position. Can I remove the side cover and turn the shaft 180 degrees? | | |
