Here is a photo of the inside of the radio and speaker connection.
The Red wire is the "HOT" 6V lead. It is not connected to anything.
Black & Blue to the speaker.

I also attached another photo prior to restoration showing the original wires.

I did check my battery and it is showing 6V.
