I used an old universal yoke, a slab of steel and a sledge hammer. I gave it all I could until it stopped moving. It stopped at the last 1/16" . I am guessing that the end of the bushing was slightly spread. It was all very scary and I hope to not do that again. I have several of these bushings. I noticed that the initial outside diameter is slightly smaller and then nearer the front end it is expanded. For me that is where it got tight.
I don't know how you get it out without taking the whole tube apart. | | |
