Hy GreggE, as others have said the dimmer switch is the likely culprit, if you still have functioning high beams the light switch should be fine. The dimmer switch switches the power to the different filaments in the headlights, the only other thing I can think of is both your low beams could be burnt out, it does happen, hope that helps.
