sorry to say but drag the tungsten on the work without the footpedal or tungsten hot. Or a fine sandpaper. The tungsten gets coated from the hf over time.
Can you explain what you mean by "hf"?
When I grind the tungsten to a point, I found out that it's very important for my grinding wheel to be COMPLETELY free of any contaminants. I need to get a dedicated grinding wheel for just grinding the tungsten.
