My aftermarket oil pressure gauge on occasion will drop from 20lbs to 0 lbs at idle. and today driving along around 35mph it dropped from 35 lbs to 0 lbs and then came back up again to 35 lbs.
Truck runs great, dipstick shows oil is full. Can these oil pressure gauges go bad ? Never had one act this way. It freaked me out the first time it happened. I pulled over immediately and shut engine off and checked the oil. It was full. Started the engine up and had 35 lbs immediately.??????...This is an after market gauge.
