| | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,122 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 1,122 | The '46 Chevy fuel gauge has a chevron shaped piece of thick grayish brown paper between the two lugs on the back of the gauge. That paper piece is now brittle and needs to be replaced. Not knowing otherwise, is there anything special about that material? Can any paper of similar weight be used as a replacement? | | |
