Thanks Bartamos for the info . Everything appears as you described it. When reordering from AutoZone they gave me the same part # as what I purchased. Come to find out there was a 16 inch cable in a bag that should have had the 18 inch. I reordered it. They said it would be in by 1:00. After getting jerked around all day I cancelled the order and ordered from NAPA.
The cable you identified should be ok. I didn't think about it but the truck is on a lift and the axle is down. So that should be the extent of the travel. This truck has been fighting me all the way and I'm just starting.
