1. Check spark
2. Check squirt or pour gas down throat
3. Check pump flow at pump outlet
4. Check for vacuum leaks. Hoses.
5. Take off gas cap!!!!!
6. Check carb bolts for tight
If you don't want to check that stuff, put on new points, condenser and buy a coil. It only takes minutes to try. As you know, it is getting gas and spark for awhile. Timing is OK. I guess either the coil/condenser is cooling off or the bowl is filling/Debris is resettling somewhere. Then it restarts.
