TRUCKBIZ 'Bolter T Joined: May 2009 Posts: 85 far north east illinois	The short version is, can I put a 12 v starter drive on a 6 v starter? Both the starters are stompers. Reason is to change flywheels for a 10" clutch. The only other thing I see to do is machine the 12 v flywheel to accept the 6v ring gear. 1949 3100
