I asked Tim (tclederman) about the codes used in the Parts Book.
He provide me with the following information.
D-D Double Duty Truck ie. Milk truck/Van You could sit or stand and drive. Also used to refer to Forward Control Chassis.
SBC School Bus Chassis
COE Cab over engine
P.G Power Glide
A.T Automatic Transmission
