Tried piggy backing this question with my question about chrome emblems without success, though I'm ready to paint the emblems now.
Any recommendations on the type of paint to use on the stock rims for my 58 Chevy. I've got some black Por15 that I was going to be using on another project, and I was wondering if that would work well for the truck rims. Based on the Pelucid I used on the wood bed strips, I think that I can rely on their self leveling claim so brush strokes won't be a problem, but how will it look overall? Any advice for other types of paint that I might try? After stripping the hubcaps I plan to use white appliance paint. Will this resist chipping well enough? Any other suggestions?
