I found it...LCM is the prefix for a 1953 4000 Series 216 engine.
L = year 1953
C = 216 4000 Series
M = Tonowanda
Check your date code and see if A228 is really A223 (Jan. 22, 1953) which would line up with the serial number...
Oh, the letter "eye" is used for the number "1". Unit numbers start at 1001, so you have the 70,059 engine.
