Did your trailer have brakes? I ask because I had a 30' RV that I pulled to CA & back with a 1/2t Suburban. It weighed 4700#. The brakes on the trailer alone would stop the truck & trailer.
Wouldn't trailer brakes stop the 3600? I've found a '56 3800 with a 327. Needs a carb, which I have. But, I would rather not buy a 1t, unless I have to.
