Thanks guys. I called Dan's Obsolete and they had a couple screws in stock and I grabbed both of them. Thanks for the info '54 3600. I pulled the #5 intake lifter and the #6 intake lifter and looked inside bores with a Snap On snake camera, everything looks OK. Lifters look fine also. I'll have my mechanic friend look also for a professional opinion. I'm leaving for vacation in a few days so I'll let you know when things get done and what happened. Thanks again for your help.
