The only gauge to be concerned is the gas gauge. Get a resistor/regulator from a specialty supplier. It is called a Runtz. Some suppliers have the equivalent under their own brand. The oil gauge works by pressure & the temp. gauge has a capillary tube. The amp. meter doesn't care if its 12 or 6 volts, unless you have a high powered altinator that would run too many amps through it.
