bobt - He told me it would be $200 alone for just the cab. I'd maybe check around for a better price.
The one thing I want to make clear on my project is that every last nut, bolt & screw are out. There are a lot of pieces, both large and small. I even split the hood, removed the sides, took off absolutely everything that could be taken off. I'm feeling better about it as time passes because here was a lot of work to do. The knowledgeable guys I've talked to (painters, others who have restored vehicles) don't think the price was too far out of line.
Anyway, what's done is done. My painter came by to look at it tonight and he was pretty impressed, both with the sandblast job and with the overall condition of my truck.
