We made brackets on a gun engravers ball (vise) to mount it on the vertical mill table. It can be swiveled to any angle including compound ones and use it just for bolt removal. With an end mill it doesn't make any difference if the bolt is square or angled on the broken end as the end mill won't "walk" like a drill. Once a year we have an open house for the AACA members in our chapter where the guys come in on a Saturday to do small projects free. The two busiest projects are bolt removal and Flat head Ford distributors on the Sun machine.
