Heres my idea... Since I've removed my stock tank on my '59, I need to fill the hole where the filler used to be...I don't have ready access to a welder so my idea is as follows
: Take a piece of stock gauge metal and cut it to size just about 1/4 inch wider than the opening and use JB Weld to bond it to the inside of the opening(inside the cab). Once cured, Go over the outside with the appropiate filler to smooth everything out. Is it crazy or not too bad of a budget idea??? Thx for the comments, J
