As to your weather stripping, look up Steele Rubber on the confusilator they should have a listing for your truck (parts are the same as a pickup) Steeles quality is very good. As to the rust issues, if you are not comfortable doing the bodywork yourself then ask around and see if you can find a bodyman that people in you area trust and have him look at the job and give you an estimate if he thinks it is repairable, hope that helps.
