There was a tech tip, or maybe just a thread on the subject some time ago. A heavy-duty starter switch from a farm tractor was used, with an extension bolt and the original pedal cap to make the conversion. Pretty tricky! There's no way to adapt a real stomp starter to a V8. Jerry
