on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 1,101 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2016 Posts: 1,101 | I continue to chip away at reclaiming my trucks old glory and beauty. I have a long list of things I want to do. High on the list is under the hood. It hasn't been touched other than to make it mechanically sound. I want to make it pretty again. In the next few weeks I plan to pull the front clip to give me easy access to the engine, firewall, radiator and inner fenders. I am going to pull the manifolds so I can replace the gaskets. I plan to power wash and paint everything. I also need to hone my welding skills and make some sheet metal repairs to the cab and fenders where they bolt together. I have a jump start. This is not the best picture but I pulled the valve cover and air filter and stripped and painted them already. I also restored an oil filter that I plan to install after the engine is repainted. I will also be repainting the truck. Restored valve cover and air filter Restored oil filter | | |
