My 1950 speedometer does not work. The needle moves when turning the cable by hand but not when attached to the transmission. I used a bore camera through the hole for the driven gear and now know why it doesn't work, no drive gear.
I can't tell if the long spacer is there either. I have an old transmission I tore down to inspect for rebuild. It has the drive gear but no rear spacer
(#17) . I have searched but have not found any of these available. I am using a Garmin right now to stay honest but would like to have the original speedometer working.
