Pull #1 plug and bump starter around til it blows your finger off #1s plug hole. Look at the timing mark/BB and turn flywheel by hand to get it lined up where it should go. Now take the distributor cap off and look where the rotor is pointing. If necessary move wires accordingly. Hope this helps. It's always worked for me.🛠
