Why use white grease? Something like "Sil-Glyde" is an excellent product to lubricate everything inside your disc or drum system. Available at your FLAPS. I think it holds itself a little better than old white grease, especially when things get hot? It is not petroleum based, so it will not attack rubber parts. Just my .02
