Stephen, I have a 42 COE and I believe it still has the shifter. I'll check tonight and see if it is in tact. If so, I will pull it off and snap some pictures.
Am I to assume that you have a first design COE, not an advance design? If so, do you have any idea if you have an GKT 134 transmission or an SM 420? Maybe someone else can chime in on which transmission would be standard. I'm fairly certain that 46 was a cross over year for transmissions in the big trucks....
