| | | | Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2013 Posts: 1,384 | On the '48 standard cab there was an over center spring that held it closed and I think fully open. Handle with a plastic knob same as the cowl vent.
On the '51 COE the lever is smaller and slides in a slot that has a notch for the lever to lock into when it's closed. I believe friction holds it open to any place you set it. No knob, just a metal lever. | | |
