| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 428 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 428 | The "kits" the vendors sell to assemble the grill have "rivet" head bolts so at least one side looks like a rivet. Bolts are probably a better way to go if you're not concerned about total originality. The reason the factory went with rivets is cost. The rivets were cheaper and it was quicker to "set" a rivet than assemble a bolt, lockwasher, and nut.
