I put a steel 50 gallon saddle tank off of a semi in the back of my bed. It was bigger but we cut it to fit. I didn't do it for leg room. I did it because I get 10 miles to the gallon, and I could never get the smell of gas out of my cab. I tried everything to seal that rubber connector, well except for something that worked....
